DigiMouse Privacy Policy

How the DigiMouse app handles information on your phone.

DigiMouse is a local utility from AgzyTech LLC and the DigiMouse developers. It does not create user accounts and is not a cloud service.

What stays on your phone

DigiMouse stores data on the device so the app can reconnect to equipment you added:

  • Paired-device names, Bluetooth MAC addresses, device type, favorites, and last-used times (Room database).
  • Optional TV remote data: local host/IP, link tokens or credentials, Wi-Fi MAC if known, and TV make/model profile (Room).
  • Touchpad speed, colors, and related settings, plus last-chosen TV model per brand (SharedPreferences).
  • For some Android / Google TV links, a locally generated client certificate in app private storage.
  • Whether you accepted these Terms (a version number in SharedPreferences).
  • If you download an in-app update, the APK is stored in app cache until you install it.

This information is used only to operate DigiMouse on that phone. Uninstalling the app removes it, unless you restore an Android backup that included app data.

What we do not collect

We do not sell your data. We do not send your paired-device list, names, MAC addresses, TV tokens, or a user profile to AgzyTech or to third parties. DigiMouse does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Network use

  • Bluetooth, to devices you pair and connect as a mouse/keyboard.
  • Local Wi-Fi only, to TVs you choose to control on your LAN (discovery, pairing prompts, and remote commands).
  • Optional updates: the app may request the published version from https://digimouse.agzytech.com and, if you install an update, download the APK from that host. Ordinary web traffic (your IP address and standard HTTP headers such as User-Agent) is visible to that server. The installed versionCode is compared on the phone to decide whether an update is available; DigiMouse does not upload a user profile.

Permissions

Bluetooth / nearby devices, network and Wi-Fi state, notifications (connection status), vibration, and install-packages (in-app updates) are used for the features above.
